Day 38 · September 13, 2026

Zuhd (Asceticism and Detachment)

True detachment is not the rejection of worldly gifts, but ensuring they do not reside within your heart.

When we hold the world in our hands rather than our souls, we find a lightness that anchors us firmly to our faith.

Practice releasing your grip on things you fear losing, trusting that Allah provides exactly what your spirit requires for the journey ahead.

By prioritizing the eternal over the fleeting, you discover a profound sense of inner peace that no earthly circumstance can diminish.

قال رسول الله ﷺ: ازهد في الدنيا يحببك الله، وازهد فيما في أيدي الناس يحبك الناس

“Renounce the world and Allah will love you, and renounce what the people possess and the people will love you.”
