Humility (Tawadu')

Humility is the quiet realization that every virtue we possess is a gift granted by the Creator rather than an achievement of our own.

When we walk through the world with a heart emptied of pride, we create space to truly witness the dignity of every person we encounter.

True strength is found not in elevating oneself above others, but in the gentle lowering of the ego, allowing Allah to raise our status in ways that truly matter.

“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases him in honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.”
